Day 1 in Carlsbad

The girls and I got to Carlsbad Wednesday early evening and got checked into our hotel. We then decided to go in search of food. We found our way down to the Pecos River, where they have a recreational area. I'm sure it's really pretty during the day, but was a little scary at night.

There was a bridge across the river that the girls wanted to walk across. It was right down on the water and had squeaky boards....so the girls were pretty much scared the entire time. It was actually quite funny to walk behind them and listen to what they were saying. They are such girls sometimes. :)
